This slightly sweet, slightly spicy sauce goes great with fresh vegetables. Serve it for a snack or as an appetizer.
In a food processor or blender, combine peanut butter, hoisin sauce, water, green onions, lime juice, soy sauce, ginger and hot pepper sauce. Cover and process or blend until smooth. Add additional water, if necessary, to thin the sauce to a dipping consistency. Transfer to bowl. Cover and chill up to 48 hours. To serve, top with peanuts, if you like, and serve with vegetables. Makes about 1-1/2 cups (12, 2-tablespoon servings).
