  • Lay a folded slice of turkey on the bottom half of each bun. Layer each with a slice of provolone. (Tear turkey and cheese as necessary to fit.) In a small bowl, stir together the pesto and mayonnaise. Spread a thin layer of the pesto mixture on the inside of the top half of each bun. Replace the top bun over the cheese to assemble the sandwiches. Arrange sandwiches on a foil-lined baking sheet. Brush the tops of the buns lightly with melted butter. Bake in a 400° oven 8 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and sandwiches are warmed through.
