  • In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cheese, cherries, sunflower seeds, and onion.

  • Stir together mayonnaise, yogurt, and cherry or raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Pour over broccoli mixture and toss well. Sprinkle with bacon.

  • Cover and refrigerate salad until serving time. Stir before serving. Stir in a little milk to thin the dressing, if you like. Makes 8 to 10 side-dish servings.

To make your own vinaigrette, combine 1 tablespoon cherry or raspberry vinegar, 1 tablespoon salad oil, and 1/8 teaspoon dried basil, crushed.
