  • Using one roll, shape dough as you like into a form that is about 1/2-inch thick. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining rolls.

  • Let dough rise in a warm place until nearly double in size (about 30 minutes).

  • Beat together the egg white and milk. Gently brush over the top of the bread. Use almonds, sesame seeds, currants, and/or herbs to decorate the bread.

  • Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until top is golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Makes 12 servings.
