Directions

Instructions Checklist
  • Flatten a thawed roll into a circle 4 inches wide. With kitchen shears, make five or six 1-inch V-shaped cuts toward center of round (about 1-1/2 inches apart) and discard triangular "V" pieces. Make 2 small diagonal cuts in dough on each side of each "V", creating a snowflake design. Repeat with remaining rolls.

  • Place shaped rolls 2 inches apart on large greased cookie sheet. Let rise in a warm place until nearly doubled (30 to 40 minutes). Bake in 350 degree F oven 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Cool on rack.

  • Split cooled rolls in half. Layer ham or turkey and cheese on bottom halves of rolls. Add dressing and top halves of rolls. Makes 8 sandwiches.

Tips

If you like, wrap assembled sandwiches in foil and bake in a 350 degree F oven for 10 minutes or until heated.
