Flatten a thawed roll into a circle 4 inches wide. With kitchen shears, make five or six 1-inch V-shaped cuts toward center of round (about 1-1/2 inches apart) and discard triangular "V" pieces. Make 2 small diagonal cuts in dough on each side of each "V", creating a snowflake design. Repeat with remaining rolls.
Place shaped rolls 2 inches apart on large greased cookie sheet. Let rise in a warm place until nearly doubled (30 to 40 minutes). Bake in 350 degree F oven 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Cool on rack.
Split cooled rolls in half. Layer ham or turkey and cheese on bottom halves of rolls. Add dressing and top halves of rolls. Makes 8 sandwiches.
If you like, wrap assembled sandwiches in foil and bake in a 350 degree F oven for 10 minutes or until heated.
