  • Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain. Meanwhile, in a small skillet, cook onion, and garlic in butter until tender.

  • In a large bowl, combine the noodles, onion-garlic mixture, cottage cheese, sour cream, 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese, steak sauce, seasoned salt, basil, and pepper.

  • Transfer mixture to a 1-quart casserole. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and the bread crumbs.

  • Bake in a 350 degree F oven about 30 minutes or until heated through. Makes 6 servings.
