  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of the flour, yeast, and baking soda; set aside. In a medium saucepan, heat and stir milk, water, sugar, and salt just until warm (120 degree F to 130 degree F). Add milk mixture to dry mixture; mix well using a wooden spoon. Stir in the remaining flour.
