  • In a large skillet, cook meat and onion, half at a time, in hot cooking oil until meat is browned. Drain off fat. Return all meat and onion to skillet.

  • Stir in tomato sauce, water, salt, paprika, pepper, and bay leaf. Bring to boiling; reduce the heat. Cover and simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until the meat is tender. Remove and discard bay leaf. Skim off fat. Spoon meat over noodles. Makes 4 servings.
