Darjeeling tea has more floral notes than ordinary black tea. For a boozy drink, add a tablespoon of vodka, gin or bourbon to each glass before pouring in punch.




  • In a medium saucepan, bring the water and ginger to boiling. Remove from heat. Add tea. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes.

  • Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve and transfer to a 1¿1/2-quart pitcher. Add lemonade concentrate and honey, stirring until honey is dissolved. Cool for 30 minutes then chill, covered, for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours. To serve, stir punch and pour into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with lemon slices.
