Part punch, part cocktail, this effervescent pink drink is perfect for holiday parties. If you don't have ginger beer or prefer a milder ginger flavor, substitute ginger ale.




  • Fill 4 10- to 12-ounce glasses with ice.

  • Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice. Add gin, pomegranate juice, and lime juice. Cover and shake until very cold, about 20 seconds.

  • Strain gin mixture into the glasses. Top off each glass with ginger beer. Garnish with lime wedges.
