The coffee-chocolate blend is poured over ice cream to make this cold summer drink.




  • In a medium saucepan, bring water to boiling. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa powder, sugar, and coffee crystals. Stir till dissolved. Cover and refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.

  • For each serving, place about 1/3 cup chilled mocha mixture into an 8- to 10-ounce drinking glass. Add a scoop each of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Stir till partially melted. Top each with whipped cream and some chocolate curls, if you like. Makes about 10 servings.
