In a microwave-safe 1-quart casserole, combine the apples, brown sugar, butter or margarine, and spices.
Cover and microcook on 100 percent power (high) for 3 to 4 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring after 2 minutes.
Serve warm over scoops of ice cream. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with pecans. Makes 4 servings.
