Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 8 - ounce carton dairy sour cream
  • 1 recipe Crumble Topping (see recipe below)

Directions

  1. Stir together the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately to beaten mixture; beat smooth.
  3. Transfer to a greased and floured 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Prepare Crumble Topping; sprinkle over top. Bake in a 350 degree F oven about 20 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for a few minutes. Serve warm. Makes 15 to 20 servings.

Crumble Topping

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter

Directions

  1. Stir together flour and sugar. Cut in butter to resemble coarse crumbs.
