We packed this snack mix with extra protein and nutrients by adding soy nuts. You can find plain or flavored roasted soy nuts at large supermarkets or health-food stores.




  • In a large roasting pan, combine the cereals, soy nuts, pretzels and crackers; set aside.

  • In a small bowl, combine oil, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, dried tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Pour oil mixture over cereal mixture in pan; toss until well coated.

  • Bake, uncovered, in a 300° oven for 30 minutes, stirring twice during baking. Spread snack mix on a large sheet of foil to cool, then store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
