In an 8x8x2-inch (2-quart square) baking dish, combine the 1/4 cup brown sugar, the butter, and corn syrup. Microcook on 100 percent power (high) for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir. Cook for about 1 minute more or until the mixture boils. Sprinkle in the nuts.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the 2 tablespoons brown sugar, the cinnamon, and nutmeg. Separate biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters. Arrange quarters atop the butter mixture in baking dish. Sprinkle the brown-sugar mixture over the biscuits.
Microcook at 70 percent power (medium-high) for 7 to 9 minutes or until done, turning dish once. Invert onto serving plate. Serve warm. Makes 8 servings.
