  • In a grill with a cover, place a 6-inch cast iron skillet or other heavy pan on grill rack over medium-low heat. Add butter or margarine. Stir in caramel topping, pecans, and cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice. Spread over the bottom of the pan.

  • Place the cheese on top of the caramel mixture. Lower the grill cover and grill for 3 to 4 minutes or until the cheese is softened and heated through, but doesn't run or lose its shape.
