How to Create a Rustic Wreath
Step 1: Gather materials
Gather a 30-inch-wide wispy birch wreath, artificial ming pine sprays with attached pinecones, artificial fir sprays, a hot-glue gun, florists wire, 2 1/3 yards of 4-inch-wide wire-edged burlap ribbon, 1 yard metal ribbon and rust-color jingle bells.
Step 2: Add branches
Insert the ming pine sprays into the wreath, making sure they go in a clockwise direction. Fill in with fir sprays and glue all the sprays to the wreath once you like how they look.
Step 3: Add burlap bow
Cut a 60 inches of burlap ribbon. Fold into three 7-inch loops, leaving an 8-inch tail. Wrap florists wire around the center of the bow and the center of the remaining length of ribbon to create tails. Wire or glue the bow to the wreath.
Step 4: Add metal ribbon
Using the metal ribbon, make a bow with two 6-inch loops and a 12-inch tail. Wire the metal ribbon bow to the burlap bow.
Step 5: Add bells
Thread bells onto a piece of florists wire and wire them in place on top of the bows. Trim the wire, and enjoy your rustic wreath!
