Midwest Living Review
Vegetarians, vegans and omnivores all coexist happily at this former cheese factory thanks to a diverse menu that includes fresh and tasty wraps, skillets, pizza, sandwiches, soups and so much more.
The Cheese Factory serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also staffs a retro soda fountain. We tried the huevos rancheros with soy sausage and the pita with feta cheese, tomatoes and walnuts. Both good choices. After the waitress invited us to peek into the spinning glass display of desserts, we settled on the delicious peach blueberry pie with ice cream. Other selections like triple-layer carrot cake and XXX chocolate (devil's food cake with chocolate mousse and chocolate ganache) made the decision difficult.
The restaurant has its own cookbook, with several quotes sprinkled throughout along the lines of "so good, you won't miss the meat!" They’re absolutely right.
