Midwest Living Review
For vacationers hoping to avoid the crowds, the screaming kids and the constant cacophony of some Dells hotels, the Delton Grand Resort and Spa provides a welcome alternative. Previously known as Rhapsody Resort, the Delton Grand sits on Lake Delton's northwestern shore. The complex consists of privately owned condo rentals and tasteful theme suites located in several buildings clustered together. The condos ($185-$710), all of which have full kitchens, range in size from one-bedroom units to a four-bedroom penthouse. Theme suites like the Spa Retreat, Moroccan Paradise and Italian Renaissance ($180-$270) each contain a wet bar, microwave and fridge.
All the lodging is upscale, with amenities like luxury bedding, green toiletries, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The resort complex has indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, fire pits, a sauna and two small beaches. Boat slips can be rented. Set alongside the lake, the compact Delton Grand Spa offers a variety of services, including mani-pedis, massages, facials, body wraps and foot treatments.
Staff members say the resort is especially popular for family reunions, girlfriend getaways and anyone seeking a relaxing Dells experience. It's easy to see why: You're in the heart of the Dells, just a few blocks off the strip, so you have easy access to all of the attractions, restaurants, etc. But Delton is in an amazingly calm and quiet spot.
