Valentine's Day Date Nights: Milwaukee

Valentine’s Day is all about love, romance, and high date expectations. For those who saved their date night planning until this very moment, we have your back. Milwaukee has a date night for all price points. Check out these three unique options for a night out with your sweetheart.

Safe House ( Safe House is the perfect dinner date for those who love a good gimmick. You'll need a secret password to enter the spy-themed restaurant, and the fun continues from there, including espionage challenges while you wait for your food and a concealed escape route. Valentine's week specials include The Pink Bullet (shaken, not stirred).

Miller Brewing Co. ( Miller Brewing Co. offers free tours of Miller Valley daily, but on February 10-11, the tour will end with a complimentary tasting of Redd’s Storm, a new cocktail made with Redd’s Apple Ale.

Coquette Café ( What's more romantic than a touch of France? Coquette Café serves French-inspired dishes in a cozy setting accented by crisp white tablecloths. Coq au vin with crème brûlée for dessert? Oui, oui.

Splash Studio ( From February 8-18, Splash Studio is hosting Red Hot Love Fest. Each day will feature partner paintings, two canvasses that fit together to form one large image. Painting sessions include champagne as well as custom-designed valentines. Sessions range from $35 to $50 per person.

Milwaukee Art Museum ( On Valentine’s Day, treat your sweetheart to three courses prepared by the Milwaukee Art Museum’s executive chef. After dinner, enjoy a guided tour focusing on some of the museum’s  “naughtier” works of art. $175 per couple.

The Outsider ( The Kimpton Journeyman Hotel's rooftop bar, The Outsider, is mixing up a special cocktail for Valentine’s Day: Pillow Talk (with gin, raspberry liqueur, egg white, cinnamon, chile, lemon, cherry bark vanilla bitters and rosemary). For couples who want to turn date night into a stay-cation, the Journeyman's Romantic Getaway package in February includes wine and truffles (from $209).
