Prices here are reasonable, and the location is excellent -- within walking distance of all the shopping and nightlife possibilities in Milwaukee's downtown and Historic Third Ward, as well as Midwest Airlines Convention Center and the Bradley Center arena. But expect no frills or any kind of aesthetically pleasing experience at this workhorse of a hotel. The view from your window will likely be nothing to write home about, but service is quick and competent, if not overly friendly. (And contrary to what their website says, you may or may not get a microwave or fridge in your room.) If you just need a place to stay for business or you're on a quick trip to the city for a game or a concert, the Inn Towne will meet your needs --and offers packages for Brewers games and casino trips -- but if you're hoping for a romantic or fancy night, it's probably not your best bet. Note that parking isn't covered in your stay. There's a garage across the street that closes at midnight and an open lot nearby that you can leave and re-enter 24 hours a day.
