Midwest Living Review
This pub draws a crowd with outdoor seating and a fire pit at a historic building on the Fox River.
This two-story pub and grill opened in 2005 in the historic Freimann Hotel along Fox Harbor. With two levels of decks and accessibility for boaters, it's an ideal hang-out on a balmy evening. And on a frigid night, the pressed-tin ceilings and exposed bricks would offer a cozy indoor atmosphere. The mood stays casual with music and six big flat-screen TVs. You can order items such as a cranberry-walnut or Thai steak salad, but most of the menu items are burgers, sandwiches, flatbreads and appetizers (think deep-fried macaroni and cheese and pizza fries). Since this is Wisconsin, there's also a Friday night fish fry, too.
