Midwest Living Review
Across the harbor from downtown Sturgeon Bay, the sounds of seagulls and Great Lakes ship horns give Bridgeport Waterfront Resort a seaside atmosphere. Unwind on balconies, stroll sidewalks along the harbor, and sit on waterfront benches. The Door County Maritime Museum and the Bluefront Cafe are within a block of the resort, and guests can cross the bridge into the downtown to explore galleries, boutiques, restaurants and theater.
Providing board games and free coffee and juice, Bridgeport’s spacious lobby makes a nice gathering place for families. There’s also a ballpit and play area for younger children and an arcade and air hockey for older kids. The indoor pool is perhaps the most popular feature, though, with a toddler-size splash area and full pool for adults and kids. Accommodations include hotel-style rooms with refrigerators and coffee makers, and nicely appointed suites with one, two or three bedrooms; kitchens; and cozy sitting areas. Most rooms feature balconies with great harbor views. Rates range from $69 to $299.
