Midwest Living Review
On a Saturday morning in Bayfield, a long line outside the famed Egg Toss Cafe send us looking for another option, which led us to Wild By Nature, a little organic cafe serving breakfast and lunch from a storefront in Bayfield's shopping area. The restaurant feels very much in keeping with a down and dirty hippie vibe. There's a dark blue ceiling, a chalkboard menu and arty trees painted on the walls. In general, the setting is quite spare. The food we tried (granola with yogurt and a breakfast burrito featuring organic sausage) wasn't bad, but certainly fell in the unremarkable category. The breakfast burrito was definitely too heavy on the potatoes and too light on the sausage. Even though Wild By Nature was less than half full during our breakfast, the slow service was very slow. As far as we could tell, there was one cook working alone in back, turning out plates when she could.
