Midwest Living Review
Big Water Cafe and Coffee Roasters opened in 2009 as an on-site coffee roaster and cafe and expanded n 2010. Today, the cafe features a variety of fresh-baked goods, on-site roasted coffees, specialty drinks, and a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.
For breakfast, expect local organic eggs with artisanal cheeses, fresh-baked breads, homemade jams featuring Bayfield berries and locally smoked bacon. At lunch, we enjoyed lavender latte subtly flavored with house-made lavender syrup and a grilled ham and cheese on artisanal sourdough.
The unassuming owners and staff focus on quality products and customer service while letting the simply prepared fresh food speak for itself. If the food doesn't draw you in, the clientele will. During busy summer months, tourists can mix and mingle with locals sharing stories over a fresh brew. Centrally located, Big Water Cafe and Coffee is a perfect place to start your adventure in Bayfield.
