Midwest Living Review
Even with more than 200 bottles of wines, a designer coffee menu and a super swanky interior, there's nothing pretentious about Uncorked Wine and Coffee Bar. Instead the vibe at this bar and restaurant -- a local favorite -- feels a little like a roadhouse. Cappuccino and toffee-color walls, intimate seating areas with oversize leather chairs and sofas, plenty of dark wood trim and whimsical quotes about wine and coffee as metaphors for life give the place an aura of Starbucks goes to the disco. Uncorked boasts an exhaustive wine list available by the glass or the bottle both at low cost; pair that with a wall of retail bottles and specials such as their "No Corkage Fee Tuesdays," and you've got some fantastic deals for wine lovers. Uncorked also has a decent selection of import and domestic beers and a full-service bar. The food at Uncorked isn't amazing, but it will keep you satisfied while you focus on your drinks. In addition to standard wine pairings like cheese plates and cheddar quiche, Uncorked also offers paninis and pizza. Check out the website for weekly dinner and drink specials throughout the summer. You'll find great deals -- but also big crowds.
