Midwest Living Review
Three Feathers Pewter is home to one of only about six hand-pewterers remaining in the United States. The shop is on the ground floor of an 1800s brick building across the street from the Holmes County Courthouse in downtown Millersburg. Much of the business is done online, resulting in an intimate experience for those who make the jaunt to Millersburg. The studio and retail space are completely open, so you can watch the artist handcraft decorative as well as functional pewter objects, spinning or casting pieces that range from bracelets and Christmas ornaments to candleholders, bowls and goblets. Prices seem very reasonable: cups cost $12 to $30; candleholder with oil candle, $80; and a tree ornament, $10. Given the rarity of pewter and the friendliness and genuine passion the artist displays for her craft, we found Three Feathers Pewter to be downright fascinating and unique.
