MAVERICK is the 17th roller coaster at the nation's second-oldest amusement park, Cedar Point, on the Lake Erie shore in Sandusky, Ohio. Maverick's trains climb 105 feet before plunging down a steeper-than-vertical drop and careening to one side--5 feet from the ground.
