Midwest Living Review
This local diner boasts homemade doughnuts, and just about everything else on the breakfast menu seems homemade, too. You know that phrase "fluffy omelets"? This is the first time we've eaten one that lived up to that description. And the home fries conjured mental images of a white-aproned cook in the back chopping potatoes by hand and frying them in a big black skillet. With the exception of the waffle syrup (which seemed a tad off), everything we ate had an authentic feel that makes it easy to understand why the place is a local favorite. "Basic hometown eatery" is the decorating theme, complete with green vinyl booths and dark wood chairs that don't match the light-wood wainscoting. But nobody is complaining when they bite into one of the homemade doughnuts.
