Reader's Garden Book Store

This unassuming storefront bookshop holds a nice assortment of new and used books, magazines, jigsaw puzzles and local information. We especially liked the clearly organized sections; there's an area featuring cookbooks, another showcasing Ohio (with an emphasis on Granville and Denison University), one for new releases. On our visit right before the Academy Awards, several shelves promoted books recently made into movies. Clever quotations adorn the walls and an atmosphere of peaceful browsing pervades, although when busy with students, retirees and young families, the narrow aisles can feel a little cramped.
