International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes at COSI

Are your wits as keen as Sherlock's? This interactive experience brings you into the world that surrounds the most recognizable fictional character in history, Sherlock Holmes. Using Holmes' methods, it is your turn to observe, experiment, and deduce in a new Sherlock Holmes mystery. Shawshank 20th Anniversary 

August 29 - 31, 2014

Grape Jamboree

September 27 - 28, 2014

The Greneva Grape Jamboree celebrates teh harvesting of the area's loal grames from 20 wineries. Visitors may taste freshly squeezed grape juice, wine, and various other grape products. Boardman Rotary Oktoberfestival

2014 marks the 38th year of the Boardman Rotary Oktoberfest. This one day craft and entertainment event will be held in Boardman Park.  Admission is $3.00. Woollybear Festival

September 28, 2014
Woollybear wackiness takes over Vermilion, OH during this 42nd annual one-day festival. Besides entertainment, food and crafts from 9 am-6 pm, the festival offers one of the largest parades in the state. Starting at 1:30 pm and lasting about two hours, Fox 8 meteorologist Dick Goddard offers commentary on Woollybear-costumed kids and pets, over 15 marching bands, vintage automobiles, floats, queens, clowns, and more. And, if the excitement of the Woollybear Festival isn’t enough, enjoy strolling the quaint lakefront town, kayaking the Vermilion River, or touring the lagoons on a paddlewheel schooner. Old-Fashioned Christmas in the Woods

October 11 - 19, 2014

Back for it's 20th year, Old Fashioned Christmas in the Woods returns to the Shaker Woods grounds Oct 11-12, and Oct 18-19. The woods will be transformed into a holiday wonderland. Each craftsperson will be demonstrating their unique skills and creating hand-crafted holiday gift items right before your eyes. Craftspeople include woodworkers, floral designers, blacksmiths, potters, tole painters, basket weavers and many others. Plenty of delicious food.
