La Chatelaine French Bakery & Bistro

Ohio is a far cry from Provence, but it's hard not to feel a little of that country French spirit when you step inside La Chatelaine French Bakery and Bistro. With French music playing quietly in the background and a rustic atmosphere, it's a nice spot to enjoy a freshly prepared pastry (the French-trained staff makes them daily) or to grab a soup and sandwich. They make homemade soups daily, and the menu includes French favorites such as tuna nicoise, quiche Lorraine, and a prosciutto & Brie sandwich served on a brioche roll or mini croissant. Definitely leave room for dessert! We loved the Napoleon, the coconut macaroons, and the fruit tarts.
