Midwest Living Review
Rhombus Guys’ Grand Forks location occupies an entire building with two dining areas (each on its own level), a bar and rooftop seating that’s open weather permitting. Customers seated outdoors are advised to bring their sunglasses because the silver metal tables and chairs tend to mirror North Dakota's strong summer sunshine. Sheets of white butcher paper cover the tables, encouraging budding artists to make good use of the provided Crayolas.
Among the extensive menu of masterful pizzas, standouts include a tasty wild mushroom variation ($15.99 for a small 12-inch) laden with Alfredo sauce, portobellos, button mushrooms, Parmesan, mozzarella and caramelized onions. Meat-lovers may want to consider the award-winning T-Rex, a gut-buster showcasing five kinds of meat ($17.99 for a 12-inch). Nontraditional choices take in the Tuscany with mustard sauce, chicken, red pepper and ricotta; the Pacific Northwest with smoked salmon, feta and olives; and the Happy Pig with pulled pork, pineapple and pepperoncini. Rhombus also offers a thoughtful gluten-free crust. A hearty selection of salads, wraps and appetizers rounds out the menu, and the bars (all three of them) are stocked with a focus on microbrews.
Rhombus Guys has additional locations in Fargo and Mentor.
