Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard

The orchard is a popular stop in the fall for apple picking, cider purchases and apple donuts, but it's also open during the harvests of cherries, pears, peaches, plums, strawberries and blackberries. The store includes a wine bar for tasting the private label selections and an array of ciders, pies, salsas and products from other farms. We loved the sweet cherry cider. The u-pick trails include informational signs about plants and pollination, and an on-site classroom is a collaboration with the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
