Midwest Living Review
Every state has stores selling specialty items that represent them. Wisconsin sells cow-shaped chunks of Cheddar, Minnesota hawks wild rice, Kentucky offers bourbon and baseball bats. In Lincoln, From Nebraska is the place to buy locally made wine, jam, jelly, Bakers chocolate candy, paintings and more, including a wealth of Cornhusker-branded items. As with most such shops, buying here can require a wary eye. Some of the items are of average quality; you'll find better scenic photos of the state in other places, for example. And while the selection of Nebraska-related books is fairly good, you can probably find the same selection (possibly a larger one) at the Lincoln Barnes & Noble. Similarly, if you're out to score some Husker gear, you'd be better off shopping at the university's sprawling campus bookstore.
