Midwest Living Review
Guests looking for a quiet, secluded immersion into the Missouri Ozarks will enjoy the 500 acres of Stonewater Cove Resort, which in themselves are remote enough. But surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest Service land, getting away from it all is truly possible here. The accommodations are both rustic and elegant with plenty of activities for families without feeling bombarded by stimulation. A zero-depth entry pool and hot tub highlight the patio area that overlooks Table Rock Lake. In the evening, enjoy s'mores around the fire ring or a glass of wine in the gliding rocker tucked away in a gazebo. More than 20 miles of ATV trails, zip lines, clay pigeon shooting, jet skiis, kayaks and canoes, and leisurely fishing boats are a part of the activities. A game room for families is accented by a three story stone fireplace and is adjacent to a movie theatre for kids. Conference facilities are possible, but really, who wants to work when Table Rock Lake beckons.
