Located in Forest Park near many other top-notch St. Louis attractions, the 77-acre zoo is a world leader in saving endangered species.
Lush landscaping makes this top-notch zoo as pleasant as it is popular. Give the kids a special treat with a behind-the-scenes tour, but plan ahead because they need to be scheduled at least three weeks in advance. Even if you don't come with the kids, definitely spring for sea lion show tickets ($3). They're worth it! Except for some special exhibits like the sea lions, admission is free.
