More than 75 acres of formal gardens, conservatories and woodlands hide in the heart of the city, surrounded by the pleasant Tower Grove neighborhood. Kids scramble through a tree house and play in water jets in the new Children's Garden. Come early in the morning, and you could have the place nearly to yourself, save for a few amateur photographers.
