Midwest Living Review
Wish you could pull off the culinary creations whipped up by the food whizzes on "Top Chef"? Learn how at cooking classes offered by Kitchen Conservatory. The instructors are chefs at St. Louis' finest restaurants (including James Beard-award nominees and graduates of the world's best cooking schools), and they'll teach you to prepare such sophisticated fare as horseradish- and mustard-crusted rack of pork, crabasparagus linguini with lemon cream sauce, and butternut squash bisque with foie gras and caramelized shallots. School doubles as entertainment with such classes as "Date Night for Couples," "Girls' Night Out" and "Dim Sum of All Parts." Class prices generally run between $40 to $60 per person, or schedule a custom class for up to 18 people.
