One-Eyed Willy's Canoe Rentals

One-Eyed Willie is actually an English bulldog owned by Brian Wilson, a guy who has made a living doing what he loves: drinking beer and floating on the Niangua River. His business has grown through the years from a simple canoe outfitter to include a little food vending business on the river bank, a couple of stores, a handful of cabins and a small RV park. Rent kayaks, canoes or inner tubes; paddle yourself or hire someone to paddle for you. Prices vary depending on the size of your group and time of year.It's fun, low-key and seasonal, just what life is about on the Niangua. If you want to stay there, the cabins are simply "glorified tents," to use Brian's words. There are five, with beds and air-conditioning. Sitting in a semicircle around a playground with picnic tables and grills, each little cabin has a porch swing. The lodge/store has restrooms and showers. There is also a mobile home for rent and new concrete pads for RV campers.
