Midwest Living Review
Lucky Strike outposts have been popping up all over the country since early in the decade, drawing celebrity fans such as Justin Timberlake. JT may not stop by K.C.'s branch, in downtown entertainment hub the Power & Light District, any time soon, but visitors can still enjoy picking up spares or shooting for a perfect 300 amid low lights and techno music while waitresses in evening wear serve cocktails and small plates laneside. (The food isn't typical bowling alley fare--think grilled shrimp or teriyaki chicken dumplings.) It's normally $11 to bowl a game. Bottle service is available--fancy, non?--and on weekends, there's a DJ. After 8 p.m., you have to be 21 to get in, and there is a dress code at all times. Lucky Strike is closed on Mondays.
