Midwest Living Review
Actor Richard Garey performs his humorous show, "Mark Twain Himself," throughout the summer at the Planter's Barn Theater, a historic limestone structure built during Mark Twain's boyhood. The theater nestles behind the Becky Thatcher House and the Haunted House on Hill Street. The witty and talented Garey also leads visitors on a "Mark Twain Walking Tour" of Hannibal that starts at the theater. In December, Garey performs his own original play, "A Shepherd's Tale," and has one-man shows depicting the apostle John Mark and President Kennedy. Admission charged.
