Cup n' Cork

If we lived in Cape, we would probably hang out here a lot. It's got a great location on Main Street and features a small outdoor dining area looking at the pretty clock tower at the center of Main and Themis. The interior is part deli, part coffee shop, part wine bar and all done well. The north side of the building is one gigantic wall of wine bottles, all for sale. The east wall is of exposed brick and displays a small amount of locally made pottery and other art for sale, as well as a small performance stage for poetry readings and the like. Windows line the west wall for views of Main Street, so that just leaves the south wall, which is the deli/coffee bar. Patrons order at the counter; servers bring the food to your table. We ordered two glasses of wine and the cheese platter ($12.99). It was enjoyable, but nothing spectacular as far as cheeses (Brie, Havarti, blue and pecorino), but the presentation was pretty. The rest of the menu includes a number of salads, wraps and paninis. Cup n' Cork offers six kinds of mayonnaise to choose from, as well as a couple of kinds of mustards, all made in-house. This is a pleasant place to enjoy a light lunch if you're shopping in the antiques stores or just perusing the river murals.
