Midwest Living Review
This world famous Christmas store is all Christmas all the time, though the employees swear they don't tire of it. For the average shopper, it's a fun stop. For the discerning collector, it's the holiday Holy Grail. These handcrafted treasures hail from the main company Christmas Village in Rothenburg, Germany, and this Stillwater satellite store is one of only four U.S. locations -- and it's the only one open year round. The store features Kathe Wohlfahrt artists designing handcrafted collectibles, including German incense smokers, candle arches, nutcrackers, Christmas pyramids, German Black Forest cuckoo clocks, traditional Bavarian beer steins, Hummel figurines, music boxes, light figures, tree ornaments, and new limited editions lines each year. Shipping is available worldwide for those who can't make the trek.
