Midwest Living Review
A spacious deck makes Freight House a popular stop in the summer. Sit outside and enjoy traditional pub grub at a moderate price. Favorites include a Friday night fish fry, a grass-fed burger and sweet-potato fries. If you're just after a beverage, take advantage of the gazebo pub, which serves locally made wines and brews. Like many buildings in downtown Stillwater, the Freight House has a historic draw. Built in the 1880s, the red-brick building once served as a railway freight warehouse.
