Midwest Living Review
In the spring and summer, gorgeous wildflowers bloom along this paved recreation path that extends 63 miles from Duluth to Hinckley. The path is lined with unique rock formations and scenic views of northern Minnesota. Bikers, hikers and snowmobilers also like to cross the impressive bridge over St. Louis River's raging rapids. Numerous parking lots along the way make it easy to break the trip into a day hike or bike ride. Named for former Minnesota state representative and environmental champion Willard Munger, this trail is supposedly the world's longest paved trail.
