You can’t go wrong by adding mozzarella di bufala (mozzarella made from buffalo milk) to any pie. It's a family place in the early evening, but go a little later and you'll find plenty of couples.
Como Park Zoo and Conservatory (comozooconservatory.org) No need for a bouquet when you and your date can spend an afternoon strolling the exotic gardens at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory. Seasonal floral displays brighten the sunken garden; take time to also see the palm dome, fern room and tropical encounters exhibit. Admission is free, but a $3 donation is encouraged.

Vine Park Brewing (vinepark.com) Every Tuesday (including February 14), Vine Park Brewing hosts Brew Party night, which allows guests to brew beer, and then come back two weeks later to bottle. Brew Party tickets are $50 each, but it is two date nights for the price of one!
W. A. Frost and Company (wafrost.com) Brick walls, Oriental rugs and fireplaces make for a mellow mood for fine dining on entrees such as braised lamb shank, grass-fed ribeye, and Scottish ocean trout. For couples who have trouble making decisions, the restaurant offers a chef-selected tasting menu.
Ordway Center (ordway.org) The musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch plays at Ordway February 14-18. On Valentine’s Day and on Feb. 18, every ticket holder is invited to a Hedwig After-Party, featuring a DJ, dancing and a fully-stocked bar. Tickets range from $72-$104.
