Doubletree Hotel

Past visitors to Rochester will remember this hotel as a Radission. Now it's a fresh, new Doubletree Hotel, perhaps the nicest lodging downtown. Rooms feature Sweet Dreams beds, 32-inch flat-screen TVs and work stations with high-speed Internet. Some have iPod docks and other amenities; several have large walk-in showers rather than tubs. Rates start at $99 for a standard room, $215 for a junior suite. The hotel connects via skyway and subway to all Mayo Clinic campus buildings.
