A classic small-town bakery, Hanisch serves doughnuts, long Johns and other pastries. On weekends it offers Swedish limpa bread and crullers—including crullers with maple frosting, an unusual but tasty combination. Try the delicious strawberry blossom, a crisp pastry with a pleasantly sweet strawberry glaze. The shop also sells bear claws, French claws (which are filled with Bavarian cream), coffee cakes, Danishes, cookies, fresh bread, hot breakfast sandwiches and paninis. There's a coffee shop in the space next to the bakery.
