Midwest Living Review
Built in 1929, this restored theater has become a hub for a variety of arts.
Open since 2007, Faribault’s Paradise Center for the Arts comes to life when the stage lights go up. The venue hosts everything from whimsical children’s plays to full-fledged musical productions; daytime visitors peruse local exhibits and buy artsy creations.
Exhibits change monthly to highlight the likes of Asian brush painting, watercolor and collages, along with some kimonos and fans. More traditional output from regional artists fills the gift shop with photos, art cards and elegant hand-painted silk scarves.
